ラクロスは、北アメリカ原住民が起源とされるスポーツである。現在では、世界中で男女を問わずプレイされている。男子や女子のラクロスチームも多数存在し、ラクロス部活動も盛んに行われている。

ラクロスは、スティックと呼ばれる棒状の道具を使って、ボールを相手のゴールに入れる競技である。スピード感あふれる攻防が魅力であり、選手たちは高い技術力と体力を要求される。
