ミニバス合宿（バスケ合宿の小学生）では、バスケットボールやコートが一般より小さいものを使います。それは小学生や中学生の成長過程に合わせて導入されているためです。

ミニバスケットボールの試合時間も一般的なバスケットボールと比べて短く設定されていてスピーディーな試合展開が楽しめます。チームの人数は5人制で行われますが、小学生などでは3人制も取り入れられています。
